Residing in Des Moines, Iowa, Dan Dehrkoop earned a bachelor of science from Iowa State University and an associate of arts from Marshalltown Community College. Dan Dehrkoop has extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, operations optimization, and team development, consistently driving improvements in efficiency, safety, and quality.
Dan Dehrkoop began his career at Pella Corporation, where he advanced through roles in process engineering and continuous improvement. He led lean initiatives, facilitated plant restructuring, applied root cause analysis tools, and enhanced operational reliability. He later joined Corteva Agriscience / DuPont Pioneer as plant operations manager, coordinating production planning, labor management, and performance monitoring to meet cost and delivery objectives. Promoted to production location manager, he oversaw over 100 employees and managed all aspects of plant, warehouse, and field operations, including budgeting, regulatory compliance, and capital investments.
Most recently, Mr. Dehrkoop served as innovation lead of Global Seed Operations at Corteva Agriscience in Johnston, Iowa. In this role, he implemented scalable improvements across international production sites to increase throughput, operational responsiveness, and process consistency.
